Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister of Transport and Business, Claus Ruhe Madsen, is pushing for the hinterland work for the Fehmarn connection – including a new tunnel under the Fehmarn Sound – to be completed by 2029. But even if it is possible, he does not consider it too likely.
