Local trains can be extended via the Fehmarn Tunnel
The Danish Transport Agency expects in its presentation that there will be ten trains per hour between Lolland and Fehmarn when the Fermer Tunnel opens in 2029. Illustration: Banedanmark.
After 2029, you will be able to take the train on a shopping trip from, for example, Holeby to Lübeck – and the people of Lübeck will be able to take the train for a quick trip to Lalandia. Both German and Danish local trains can become international, writes the Danish Transport Agency in the new traffic plan.
